The Mercedes-Benz Antos family debuted in September 2012 at the IAA Commercial Vehicles Motor Show in Hanover.

All diesel engines are equipped with a common-rail system, SCR / EGR and soot filter.

The standard transmission will be a Mercedes PowerShift3 with 8 or 12 speeds.

This will have a positive effect on the driving characteristics of the trucks, even in the tractor / trailer and tractor / semi-trailer versions.

The creeping gearbox mode will be very useful when maneuvering in limited urban conditions, when the driver will be able to control the speed of the truck using only the brake pedal.
