Sears (Sears, Roebuck and Company, Sears Holdings) is an American company that operates several international retail chains.

Founded by Richard Warren Sears and Alvah Curtis Roebuck in the late 19th century. The innovation of the company was that it delivered goods by mail, ordered by the final buyers through postal catalogs. At that time, the company specialized in the trade in civilian small arms, especially Colt's revolvers.
