BOKUN Enterprise was founded in 1960 as a manufacturer of stainless steel products. In 1962, the name changed to TYM Co (Tong Yang Moolsan).
In 1968, the concern began to produce tractors and agricultural machinery mainly for the Iseki brand for a Japanese manufacturer (the main shareholder). Since the quality was impeccable, the growth in production did not wait too long.
The production of TYM tractors was constantly upgraded and produced first under licenses (ISEKI, SAME), and then independently by the most modern tractors.
In late 1983, a controlling stake in the tractor production was bought by the government of South Korea.
After that, Japan stopped supplying its diesel engines to the conveyor, but the concern did not have any problems - it was gladly offered by their other manufacturers.
Now KUBOTA, John DEERE, PERKINS, Mitsubishi, etc. engines are placed on tractors, and all the units that are installed are original only, and not licensed ones.
That is why TYM tractor production now occupies a leading position in the assembly industry and produces tractors for the whole world, mainly for the USA (TYM, Mahindra , Montana, Scorpion, Zetor) and Western Europe (JCB, TYM, CASE, FENDT).
Currently, TYM collects about 15,000 tractors under its brand and about 10,000 on orders.
