Volvo, Renault, Mack Trucks MID 219 Codes Decryption of Malfunction DTC
Truck Fault Code, DTC Parameter, Error Description
ACC Cruise Control System Unit
MID 219 SID 1 FMI 13
Radar System ACC.
The radar is incorrectly directed. The radar is offset or the radar mount is damaged.
MID 219 SID 2 FMI 3
Radar system ACC.
The ACC control unit receives a message that a voltage above 12 V is being supplied to the radar. Short circuit of the radar power wire to a circuit with a higher voltage or the A75 directional stability sensor is faulty.
MID 219 SID 2 FMI 4
Radar System ACC.
The ACC control unit receives a message that a voltage below 12 V is being supplied to the radar. An open power wire, a short to power wire to ground, or a directional stability sensor A75.
MID 219 SID 2 FMI 12
Radar System ACC.
The ACC control unit receives a message that one of the components of the radar is faulty. Radar internal malfunction.
MID 219 SID 231 FMI 2
Data Channel SAE J1939.
The ACC control unit does not receive messages on the SAE J1939 data channel. Damaged or oxidized contacts in the connectors or open circuit of the data channel.
MID 219 SID 240 FMI 2
Program memory.
Software failure or faulty storage circuit in the ACC unit.
MID 219 SID 248 FMI 2
Data channel SAE J1939 CAN6 (internal channel).
The ACC control unit detects a malfunction of the internal CAN6 data channel (data channel between the ACC unit and the radar). The contacts in the connectors are damaged or oxidized or the wires of the data channel are broken.
MID 219 SID 248 FMI 12
Data channel SAE J1939 CAN6 (internal channel).
The radar does not respond to requests from the ACC control unit via the internal data channel. Bad data channel.
MID 219 SID 250 FMI 2
Data channel data SAE J1708.
The ACC control unit records error messages in the data channel. Perhaps several control units send messages at the same time.
MID 219 SID 253 FMI 2
Gauge memory, EEPROM.
A programming error or a faulty storage circuit in the ACC block.
MID 219 PSID 1 FMI 1
Radar system ACC, radiation.
The ACC control unit received a message that the radar does not emit in the microwave range. Radar internal malfunction.
MID 219 PSID 2 FMI 0
Radar system ACC, reception.
The ACC control unit received a message about interference in the radar. Eliminate interference, check trouble codes.
MID 219 PSID 2 FMI 1
Radar system ACC, reception.
The ACC control unit received a message that the radar was closed by a foreign object. Remove foreign objects,
check trouble codes.
MID 219 PSID 3 FMI 0
Radar system ACC, temperature.
ACC control unit
Received a message that the radar temperature is above normal. Radar internal malfunction.
MID 219 PSID 3 FMI 1
Radar system ACC, temperature.
ACC control unit
I received a message that the temperature of the radar is below normal. The internal radar heater does not work. Replace radar unit.
MID 219 PSID 4 FMI 2
Radar system ACC, calibration.
The ACC control unit received a message about the incorrect calibration of the radar. The radar is displaced or not calibrated.
MID 219 PSID 6 FMI 3
Stability sensor.
The voltage at the PB8 contact of the ACC block from the sensor is higher than 4.5 V. The wiring between the ACC block and the sensor is faulty or the sensor is faulty.
MID 219 PSID 202 FMI 9
Loss of communication on the SAE J1939 data channel with the dashboard control unit (MID140).
The ACC control unit does not receive signals from the dashboard control unit (MID140) via the SAE J1939 data channel. Open or partial damage to the wires of the data channel between the blocks.
MID 219 PSID 205 FMI 9
Loss of communication on the SAE J1939 data channel with the gearbox control unit (MID130).
The ACC control unit does not receive signals from the gearbox control unit (MID130) via the SAE J1939 data channel. Open or partial damage to the wires of the data channel between the blocks.
MID 219 PSID 206 FMI 9
Loss of communication on the SAE J1939 data channel with the moderator control unit (MID222).
The ACC control unit does not receive signals from the moderator control unit (MID222) via the SAE J1939 data channel. Open or partial damage to the wires of the data channel between the blocks.
MID 219 PSID 208 FMI 9
Loss of communication on the SAE J1939 data channel with the air suspension control unit (MID150).
The ACC control unit does not receive signals from the air suspension control unit (MID150) via the SAE J1939 data channel. Open or partial damage to the wires of the data channel between the blocks.
